House Engineering Competition

Published on 04/12/18

Each House pitted their wits against one another at the House Engineering Competition on Tuesday 4 December. Pupils were challenged with who could design the most air-worthy craft and bring precious cargo (an egg) safely to earth after being hurled out the classroom window of the Mansion!

Radnor emerged victorious with a cracking parachute design, complete with supporting “fighter jet escorts”. Esher placed second, opting for a simpler but effective design featuring bubble-wrap, tape and a lot of good luck. Norwood were judged an honourable third and Longcross settled for the wooden spoon.

Well done to all those who took part. An eggcellent effort from all Houses.
