Sixth Form Volunteering

Published on 20/11/18

Sixth Form prefects at Claremont Fan Court School can be found volunteering across all areas of the school as part of their community service. Students choose where they would like to offer their services and can be spotted helping run art and science clubs in the Senior School, assisting with lessons in the Prep School, and helping the Pre-Prep during Forest School sessions to name but a few examples.

This year, sixth formers are also volunteering as peer mentors and are able to offer one-to-one support for pupils in lower years. Kathryn R says “Volunteering is my favourite part of being a prefect. I really value being able to give back to the school during my final year. I really appreciate the help and support I received when I was younger so to be able to pay that forward is important to me.”
