Year 8 Jewish Museum Visit

Published on 22/01/19

Year 8 pupils travelled to Camden, London on Friday 18 January to visit the Jewish Museum. Pupils learned about key Jewish beliefs such as Shabbat through artefacts, had the opportunity to participate in a workshop on the Jewish persecution in WWII and visited an exhibition on the Kindertransport. Throughout the day pupils were enthusiastic and engaged, asking many insightful questions, as well as very impressively answering the challenging questions posed to them during the workshops. Pupils left the museum with an enhanced understanding of Judaism, ready to commence their studies of the religion in RS this term.
