CSI: Claremont

Published on 07/02/19

This half term, Year 8 pupils have been putting their detective skills to the test investigating a murder mystery at Claremont! As part of the school’s STEM Club programme, pupils have been using lots of different scientific methods during their crime scene investigations. Tasks have included collecting evidence from the scene, soil analysis, footprint comparison, fingerprint analysis and flame testing for chemical elements. Pupils have thoroughly enjoyed trying to identify ‘whodunit’ and the club may even have inspired some budding forensic scientists!
