We understand that choosing the right setting for your child can be a daunting process, especially at the start of their school journey. Our friendly and knowledgeable admissions team are on hand to guide you every step of the way.

Ms Aline Norris is your point of contact for admissions into our Pre-Preparatory and Nursery and she is available to answer your initial enquiries at admissions@claremont.surrey.sch.uk or on 01372 473 780. Alternatively, you can fill in an initial enquiry form by clicking here.

Our simple four-step process for admissions is as follows:

1. ARRANGE A TOUR

All prospective families are warmly invited to attend an open day or an in-person tour. This is an ideal opportunity to view our outstanding facilities, expansive outdoor grounds and to discuss how we can best support your child. Please note we will be holding specific open days for Reception in September each year.

2. APPLICATION FORM

If you would like to proceed with an application after your initial visit, we kindly ask that an online application form is completed, supported by a £125 non-refundable registration fee. Please click below to fill out the application form.

3. ADMISSIONS VISIT

As a gently selective school, we invite all of our prospective children for an admissions visit. Pre-Nursery and Nursery children will be invited to a short ‘stay and play session’ to ensure that they will be happy and settled in our environment. Reception children and above will be invited to spend the morning alongside pupils of the same age and will complete gentle tasks with one of our teachers in line with age related expectations.

4. RECEIVE AN OFFER

The admissions team will be in touch shortly after your admissions visit to confirm if we are in a position to offer a place or waiting list place. Should an offer of a place be made, families will have up to two weeks to complete the relevant paperwork and pay the £1,000 deposit in order to secure the place.

Please note, all new joiners for a September start are warmly invited to a settling in event in the summer term in order to meet classmates, teachers and for parents to meet our PTA.
