The Sixth Form are two essential years needed to secure a fine university place and build on the excellent work of each student’s GCSE success.
The challenging pace of our diverse curriculum, with academic excellence at its core, will be the decisive factor in university and career choice.
In small classes, you will work on the basis of mutual respect between Sixth Former and teacher; essential preparation for university life.
Working alongside our enthusiastic and subject-qualified teachers, you will discover a common interest in your academic studies. You will be a member of this Sixth Form; all of whom are aiming high in their studies and enjoying the camaraderie of a friendly and supportive two-year group. With a common room in the historic White Cottage, your A level studies and Sixth Form life will be vibrant and stimulating.
You can also be part of a thriving co-curricular programme with opportunities to compete in senior sports teams, take lead roles in artistic disciplines and enjoy or lead other clubs and activities including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and Young Enterprise. Fieldtrips and excursions are key to our Sixth Form experience; recent trips have included Geneva and New York.
