As a former home to Queen Victoria, the exiled French monarchy and World War II Hawker Aircraft company, the Claremont mansion boasts a rich past. Join us to unearth the royal, political and social history that lies within on Heritage Open Day this year.
The mansion ground floor rooms will be open to all for self-guided touring, with information boards provided.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, entry to the mansion with be strictly limited to timed entry only in 2020. Pre-booking is required and to ensure strict visitor number controls you will not be able gain entry without a booking on the day. Thank you for your understanding.
Tea and homemade cakes will be available to purchase in the Great Room.
