Heritage open day

Sunday 15 September 2019, 11am - 5pm
Mansion tours: 11.30am, 12.45pm and 2.30pm
Tree tour: 1.30pm.

As part of this year’s heritage open day, the school will be opening the doors of the mansion for free to the public. Join us to unearth the royal, political and social history of Claremont mansion, with either a pre-booked guided tour or a self-guided tour. Claremont mansion boasts a rich and varied past as the former home to Britain's forgotten Princess Charlotte of Wales, Queen Victoria, the exiled French monarchy and World War II Hawker Aircraft Company. Tea and homemade cakes will be available in the Great Room.

An opportunity for parents to hear from the headmaster and heads of the Prep School and Pre-Prep and Nursery on the vision for Claremont Fan Court School. Presentations begin at 7.00pm followed by informal drinks and canapés.
