Science and Technology Progress (Oct 2018)

External construction of the new Science and Technology building is almost complete and the new charcoal facing brickwork and windows can be seen emerging from beneath the scaffolding. Following the installation of the large glazed sky light windows, which will flood the interior space with natural light, the internal partition walls are being constructed and the staircases have been installed.
Once the building is fully watertight, work will begin on the internal fit-out of the 12 new classrooms. We expect the building to be completed during the Spring Term 2019 and are currently scheduling to relocate the science, food and nutrition and textiles classrooms during the Easter break 2019.
