House Orienteering Competition

Published on 16/06/17

The third week of June saw the House Orienteering Competition take place around the School grounds. At lunchtime every day during the week, pupils from the Prep and Senior School took the opportunity to explore a number of remote and rarely visited corners of the school grounds. More than a hundred pupils had 88 runs between them on one or more of nine different courses, in the process improving their navigation skills, giving themselves a good physical workout and having lots of fun.

The results of the competition were comprehensive wins for Norwood in the Prep School and for Esher in the Senior School, with the highest and most consistent scorers being invited to represent the School in the Surrey Schools and Youth Orienteering Festival.
