Pre-Preparatory and Nursery Garden Official Opening
Published on 27/04/18
On Friday 20 April, the Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School gathered together in the sunshine for the highly anticipated opening ceremony of their new landscape garden. Work began on the garden in the spring and features include new hedging, outdoor lesson seating, sensory path, willow playhouse, flower beds planted by the children and much more! The garden will provide a wealth of learning opportunities for the children and we look forward to seeing it mature and develop over the years.
“Our beautiful new garden is a vivid, colourful and fitting tribute to the incredible work our PTA do. Friday’s opening ceremony, with Amelie’s musical accompaniment and the sun shining, reminded me of how lucky I am to work here! It is wonderful to have an enthusiastic and supportive parental community, outstanding staff and a happy and thriving student body who really deserve excellent outdoor facilities. The children love the garden and the forest school and we have many plans to develop these further still. Thank you again to everyone who has helped to make this all happen!” Head of Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School, Michael Williams.
