Forest School Summer Camp
Published on 26/07/18
If you go down to the woods in Claremont Fan Court be sure of a big surprise. Forest School summer camp is proving a fantastic place to be during the summer heat. The children have been busy doing lots of activities, including natural leaf printing, making natural paints, Nordic slinging, den building, fire lighting and cooking to name just a few. They have also been busy playing games, storytelling, making clay faces and keeping the woods free from trolls and comfy for the lazy dragon. In just three days for each camp it has been amazing to see responsibility, resilience and huge amounts of fun emerging as the children have mixed across age groups, demonstrated responsibility with tools, sticks and fire, whilst also observing and caring for the wildlife around Claremont Fan Court.
