Year 2 Visit the British Wildlife Centre

Published on 02/11/18

Year 2 had a wonderful day at the British Wildlife Centre on Thursday 1 November. The children had the opportunity to meet lots of wild animals that visit or live in different parts of our gardens and also learn about what they eat and what time of day they might be able to see them. A little rain did nothing to dampen the children’s enthusiasm and excitement about getting so close to animals that usually hide away from humans or who only come out past their bedtime, including foxes, owls and hedgehogs. Many of the children were amazed to learn about the struggles facing many of our wild animals and their response demonstrated that we might have some future conservationists amongst us!
