U9 ISGA National Finals

Published on 04/03/19

On Friday 1 March, the U9 gymnastic squad travelled to St Catherine’s School, Bramley to compete in the Independent Schools Gymnastics Association National Finals. With only 12 schools qualifying from around the country, it was an incredible achievement for the girls to represent the school at such a prestigious championship. Despite the pressure of such a big event, the girls held their own amongst strong competition, and showcased some of their best routines to date. The squad finished in 9th position overall which is a fantastic result in a tough field of 72 gymnasts, many of whom were Year 4 pupils. A special mention to Purdy M in Year 3 for finishing top 18 individually.
