Meditation in support of World Mental Health Day

On Thursday 10 October, twenty pupils and 6 staff sat together in the library at lunch time for five minutes of guided meditation.  This was a contribution to World Mental Health Day and the Schools Sit Together campaign run by the Mindfulness in Schools Project and offered a reminder of how to take time to focus on mental health and wellbeing. Many of the pupils and staff taking part already had some experience of meditation through the school’s mindfulness programme and it was great to have them in attendance.
