Year 13 Philosophy conference

Published on 25/11/19

Year 13 Philosophy students attended a conference at Bloomsbury Baptist Church in central London on Friday 22 November, led by the philosopher and author Peter Vardy. During the conference lectures were given on the challenging topics of religious language and meta-ethics, in addition to an interactive quiz and debate.

Despite over 400 students in attendance, Claremont students were able to sit right at the front, meaning they were able to contribute towards ideas and provide examples in discussions. Overall the conference was an engaging experience for students and they came away with an enhanced understanding of the course which will better prepare them for their exams in six months' time.
