Ritangle maths competition success
Published on 20/01/20
Three Year 12 students formed a team to compete in the Ritangle maths competition that finished in the final week of the autumn term. Now in its fourth year, Ritangle consists of 25 challenging questions devised by the Mathematics in Education and Industry charity to encourage use of problem-solving skills, teamwork, perseverance and good use of technology. Answers to these 25 questions unlock clues to access the final multi-part question and tie-breaker. Our team members were not the first to enter the correct solution but they were one of only 45 teams, out of over 600, to complete the competition. Congratulations to Noah B, Alex B and Jude C for some fantastic problem solving.
