Surrey Schools' Tennis League

Published on 04/05/17

The U15 team played brilliantly vs King's College Wimbledon in the doubles Surrey Schools' Tennis League. Jacob and Kyran played as the number three pair and, while losing to their first pair 1-6, beat their second pair 7-6 (8-6 in the tie break) which was the match that put Claremont in an unassailable lead and an exciting one at that.

As well, they won 6-4 over their third pair. James and Patrick won 6-3 against both King's College third and second pair but lost 0-6 against their strong first pair. Both boys played very well and are really building strength in their games. Claremont's first pair of Elliott and Will are a very promising U15 pair and they are building a really strong partnership. They beat Kings’ third pair 6-1, their second pair 6-0 and quickly beat their first pair 6-1. An impressive afternoon! That meant the overall score was 7-2 to Claremont Fan Court.
