We require a full-time, well-qualified and creative teacher to lead the department from September 2019 and to teach Years 7,8,9, GCSE and A level art.
The department offers a vibrant programme of fine art, print making, ceramics, sculpture and photography and achieves 100% A-C pass rate at A level and GCSE.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an innovative and effective teaching style and to have excellent subject knowledge of art and photography. A strong honours degree and a teaching qualification are required along with relevant experience. Curriculum leadership experience or an aptitude for leadership would be an advantage. Skills in digital photography are desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the pastoral life of the school.
