Fixed term, maternity cover for one year
A full-time teacher of biology is required for September 2021 to teach Year 9 and GCSE biology, with a shared responsibility for Year 7 and 8 general science. An earlier start date may be negotiated.
Claremont Fan Court has a strong science tradition and standards in this department are high. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an effective teaching style, have a sound knowledge of general science, and have a strong degree in the biological sciences
The role could suit an NQT for whom first class support will be given or an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge. A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school is essential.
