Community partnership programme

A new community partnership project was launched in September 2019 for all our lower sixth students.

The aims of the project are to enable students to:

  • Make a positive difference to other people’s lives
  • Become more involved in the world outside school
  • Gain greater awareness of issues facing other communities
  • Reinforce their subject knowledge
  • Build upon communication and team-working skills
  • Learn new skills and gain work experience
  • Become well-rounded and empathetic individuals

This project also allows students to participate in the vInspired volunteering award scheme, a nationally recognised, UCAS endorsed award for 10, 50 or 100 hours of flexible volunteering. Find out more via
