As part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, we welcomed the inspirational Leah Chowdhry to talk to our Prep School pupils this week. Not only was she the first British Asian woman to swim across the English Channel to France, but she also raised over £150,000 for charity from doing it. Further achievements she has accomplished include running the London Marathon for Unicef and building a shelter for homeless children in India.

Leah recently released a children’s book called Making a Splash, which shares her emotional and inspiring story. It is available for purchase here, with a percentage of profits going to charity.
