Sport plays a key role in Claremont sixth form life for many students. It’s often a perfect counterbalance to the demands of academic work, a chance to engage different parts of the mind and body and generate plenty of endorphins!

As well as forming the most senior teams in core sports like rugby, football, lacrosse and netball, as part of a wider school community they have the chance to compete in sports day and other house sports.

Compared to other, larger sixth forms, Claremont Fan Court offers the advantage of opening up a place on a sports team more easily to those that want to take part and has introduced many newbies to the joys of brand new sports such as lacrosse and Claremont football (a derivation of gaelic football).
