ISI January 2017
The last full ISI inspection took place in January 2017 and the key finding were that the quality of pupils’ academic and other achievements is excellent, and that the quality of pupils’ personal development is also excellent.
This is the highest judgement possible under the new inspection framework and we are delighted that the report supports the experience of our pupils, their families and our staff.

The school also meets the eight Independent School Standards for regulatory compliance, including the early years.
On the quality of education provided inspectors noted ‘At GCSE in the years 2012-2015, performance has been above national average for maintained schools’ and ‘In the sixth form, A-level results in the years 2012-2015 have been above the national average for sixth formers in maintained schools’.
Pupils of all ages show high levels of self-knowledge and an exceptionally high level of understanding of how to progress.

With respect to the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils the report comments, ‘Principles and values are actively promoted which promote the personal development of pupils as responsible, tolerant, law-abiding citizens’.
