On Tuesday 27 January, Reception were enchanted by their fairytale visit to the our eighteenth century mansion. They are currently learning about kings, queens, knights and palaces, which meant their royal visit to the Senior School’s vast and decadent Great Room, was a fitting setting for a mini banquet!

Dressed up in their finest kings and queen’s attire, they enjoyed an interesting talk from Mr Brierly who read them a short story and educated them on the fascinating royal history of our school. Pupils enjoyed practicing their royal waves, bowing and curtsying during this fun afternoon.

Well done to our kings, queens and knights for their exceptional behaviour. A fun afternoon was had by all!
