Despite the wind and rain, Year 1 had a brilliant time on their trip to the British Wildlife Centre. It was an excellent opportunity for the pupils to learn about Britain’s wildlife up close and to hear the expert knowledge of the park-keepers working there.

The pupils got to see foxes, owls, otters, polecats, badgers, mice, rats, Scottish wild cats, muntjac deer, stags and even red squirrels. They learnt lots of interesting facts about these animals and enjoyed asking lots of fabulous questions to further their knowledge.
