What a fantastic Heritage Open Day! 🌿 We were delighted to welcome more than 1,000 visitors to Claremont to celebrate the rich history of our estate. From the Vanbrugh heritage trail and Kingston Aviation’s Hawker display, to afternoon tea on the back lawn and a children’s trail, there was plenty to discover. A real highlight was the Belvedere opening its doors for the first time in six years, offering a rare glimpse inside one of Claremont’s hidden gems. And our Claremont honey was a hit too, with every jar selling out! 🐝 A huge thank you to our partners at the National Trust’s @ntclaremontlandscapegarden and Kingston Aviation, and to everyone who helped make the event such a success. All donations received went towards the school’s Heritage Fund. We’re already looking forward to Heritage Open Day 2027! Keep an eye on our socials for more details.

Food styling in Year 9 🍽️✨ Year 9 have been getting creative, developing their understanding of food styling and experimenting with a range of techniques. Their challenge was to take on the role of food designers and stylists, creating a restaurant-quality plate with the tea cake as the star of the plate. From swooshes and dots to crumbs, dusting, feathering and the power of three, pupils put their new skills into practice, producing some fantastic final plates! 👏
