Racing back to Claremont: Alex Thornton shares his motorsport journey 🏎️🏁 We were delighted to welcome Alex Thornton (Class of 2005) back to Claremont with his restored Embassy WFR03 Le Mans-style racing car. As part of the Student Futures ‘A Day in the Life’ series, Alex shared stories from his career in motorsport and gave pupils a close-up look at his racing car. He later led a session with the go-karting club, judging a slalom challenge and helping pupils compare their karts with his race car. During his visit, Alex enjoyed revisiting old classrooms and searching for the tree he planted beneath The Belvedere. 🌳 A huge thank you to Alex for returning and sharing insights into life after Claremont! ✨
