Alison was a boarder during her time at Claremont School. She shares her favourite anecdote from a Disco Night at Claremont and a photo alongside friends:
“When I first started at Claremont as a boarder I remember that Tuesday evenings were Disco Nights in the Common Room. One evening the headmistress (Miss Doran) passed the door and watched us bopping away to “Sandy Shaw’s Puppet on a String. When the music stopped she exclaimed “you all look like you need to go to the lavatory”. We all fell about laughing.”
