Wayne Parkinson

Partner at HOP Interiors

Wayne has spent most of his working career in Construction.  Having completed a degree in Geology in Birmingham, Wayne fell into construction, like most people do!  Since then, he has focussed on the commercial side of the industry specialising in office interiors.  Wayne’s focus has been working for Design & Build businesses that combine the creative and technical design normally associated with architects, with the commercial and management disciplines of more traditional construction firms.  In 2019 he co-founded a business called HOP Interiors and has built and operated that business since.  HOP now employs twenty people across all disciplines.  Highlights include delivering a new Head Quarters for Kraft Heinz in the iconic Shard building in Southwark, many projects for WeWork across London and some incredibly high end boutique bespoke offices.  You can talk to him about careers in construction ranging from quantity surveying, interior design to project management.

through others, will be ensuring your product / service is ‘right first time’, ‘delighting your customers / clients’ and driving ‘improvements’.
