Lauren Morrison

Pilot - Norse Atlantic

After leaving Claremont sixth form in 2004 Lauren worked at the Disney Channel, having studied Drama, Media, Theatre and Photography. In 2008 she joined Virgin Atlantic as cabin crew, but soon realised she wanted to learn to fly. In 2014 Lauren completed her pilots licenses and started flying for Flybe on the Dash 8 Q400. Lauren gained experience and moved to Norwegian Short Haul in 2018 flying the Boeing 737. In 2019 she returned to long haul operations and began flying the Boeing 787 for Norwegian. Sadly, in 2021 the company went into liquidation due to the massive impact covid19 had on the aviation industry. Lauren was made redundant, like 64% of UK pilots. In 2022 she was invited to an assessment for a new long haul Gatwick based airline called Norse Atlantic Airways. Lauren was successful in her interview and happy to be back flying the Boeing 787
