Anna Johnston
Learning and Careers for Sky
Anna has worked in Human Resources (HR) for Sky, Nationwide and British Airways.
After studying Russian at Durham University, she joined the British Airways General Management graduate programme, where she stayed for 22 years. At BA, she worked in a wide variety of commercial and customer roles, as well as working overseas in New York and as a Duty Manager at Edinburgh Airport.
The second half of her BA career was spent in the People department, working in strategic roles that focused on making BA the best place it could be for someone to work. She was latterly leading an HR transformation project that involved implementing a new IT solution for the whole airline.
After leaving BA, Anna worked as Head of Learning & Skills at Nationwide, and she is now Group Head of Learning & Careers at Sky.

Sarah is the People & Culture Director, IAG Tech for the International Airlines Group. Sarah is a highly accomplished commercial leader with over 25 years professional and international experience in all aspects of the Human Resources function and across various industries including aviation, healthcare, manufacturing, and banking. Originally from Australia, Sarah has spent her career in Human Resources and commercial roles and has a BA (Industrial Relations, Social Economics and Psychology) from the University of Sydney as well as an MBus (Human Resource Management). When not at work, Sarah is a Non-Executive Director for a charity and volunteers at a local netball club as one of the qualified coaches.
