As part of the A level English language syllabus, Year 13 pupils study child language acquisition and learn how speech is developed from birth through to 7 years of age.  After learning the theory behind this process and armed with newly acquired technical knowledge, the Year 13 linguists visited our very youngest pupils on Thursday 7 October to observe how they speak and interact with each other. The visit was a wonderful opportunity for the A level students to watch language development in young children and interact with them on an individual basis.  Our thanks go to the staff in Squirrels and Rabbits and to Mrs Watson and Mr Williams for making us so welcome.
