A level maths students enlightened by the ‘Maths in Action’ talk

Our A level maths students wrote a short write up of their trip:

The A level mathematicians went on an enlightening field trip to the ‘Maths in Action’ talk on 16 November. From abstract topology with Colin Wright to the Windmills of Your Mind by Ben Sparks, we got to learn a lot about how maths shapes the world around us! It was a fantastic learning experience beyond the classroom and a great opportunity to celebrate the brilliance of maths.
