Golf is a new sport at Claremont Fan Court School. Since March we have been taking part in ‘Schools Golf Tournament’. As a Golfer we have our highs and lows. The most important part is the friendships made during these competitions which has been remarkable to see among these young players. They have been working hard over the weekends by playing in competitions or organising among themselves to get a round of golf in with each other.

We have a very small team but the quality and the talent has paid off winning at the Frilford Heath competition last week. We took all the prizes at the tournament.

Tristan G won over all with 45 points, with Max G coming second on 41 points and Cameron T in third place on 40 points.

With the students all scoring, they won 1st place for the team prize.

Max G won the competition with 1 over.

This week we took part at Windlesham and it was a tough day on the course but the students played well and had a very enjoyable day.

A very well done to all of the students.
