The rain held off and the sun took a much appreciated break for this year’s Prep School sports day. The morning was all about Year 5 and Year 6, with over 70 races run throughout the morning. With too many medal winners to mention, it was a morning packed with competitive finishes and much enjoyment and achievement. The victor ludorum was a closely contested competition, particularly in the Year 6 boys category- only four points separating the top four! Winners were Magnus O and Abigail W in Year 6, with Ethan S and Grace A reigning supreme in Year 5. The overall house award went to Norwood.

It was Year 3 and Year 4’s turn in the afternoon, which for many was their first Prep School sports day. With 44 races run, mostly packed with a minimum of six competitors, it was evident that pupils were ‘in it to win it’! Radnor reigned supreme in the house event and Annabel C, who had won all her races, stepped forward to receive the cup on Radnor’s behalf.

Well done to all competitors and we look forward to house swimming next week!
