On the morning of Thursday 11 November, the Senior School gathered together for the school’s annual Remembrance Service. Headmaster, Mr William Brierly, was accompanied at the service by The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Elmbridge Councillor, Tony Popham, alongside Mayoress, Mrs Jo Wright, and Chair of Governors, Mr Andrew Sutherland.
Readings, performances from the choir, orchestra and drama department, as well as moving solo instrumental pieces made for a fitting service. For many of our pupils and musicians, this was the first time they had performed live to a large audience for almost two years.
A two-minute silence was observed by all pupils and staff at the eleventh hour; the end of which was sounded by The Last Post.
Lest we forget.
