Showstopper cakes at house bake off!

On Tuesday 17 September the annual Senior School bake off competition took place! We were very lucky to have Flori Massenueve, a professional judge, who had the extremely difficult task of deciding the winners.

There were six categories for each house: stand decoration, bread, meringues, scones, flapjacks and a celebration cake. Banstead house won the stand decoration and celebration cake category with an incredible ‘Alice in Wonderland’ overarching theme. Longcross won the bread category, Stanmore the meringue category, Norwood the scone category and Radnor the flapjack category.

A huge congratulations to Banstead house for being the overall winner! The standard across the competition was unbelievable and we are very proud of all the bakers.
