Over the weekend on 19 and 20 September, Year 11 and 12 undertook their silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award practice expedition. Thirty-two students took part which pleasingly is Claremont Fan Court School’s largest silver group to date. Due to the current restrictions in place, the camping element has been removed and so the expedition was a lot more localised, with the route taking students along through Molesey Heath on Saturday and around Oxshott on Sunday. Helped by the excellent weather and their mature and resilient attitude, the students made very good time and are now well prepared to complete their final expedition in November.
