Sixth form artists and photographers recently visited the Tate Modern. They explored a wide range of artists and photographers work and spent the day drawing, taking pictures and discussing works of art. The Maria Bartazova exhibition was inspiring; the plaster casts of balloons and metallic sculptural forms were interesting to draw from. They were lucky enough to view the Kusama Infinity Mirrors exhibition which didn’t disappoint! The students also had time to look at the permanent collection which provided them with inspiration for their coursework and exam units. It was a lovely day had by all!
