Many congratulations to Jinny P who competed at the 11th WUKF World Karate Championships and won two gold medals. One medal was for U13 Shito Ryu Singles and the other was for U13 All Styles Teams titles. This is one of the largest karate competitions held globally, with 1,826 competitors and 31 countries in attendance over five days at this year’s competition.
Jinny was also awarded her first Dan black belt by her Dojo which has been the culmination of six years training. Congratulations Jinny!
Harry T (Year 7) is currently competing in the British Karting Championships and is sitting sixth in Britain mid-way through the season. The final round is in October. His aim is to finish the season being seeded top three and therefore winning a place to compete in the World Karting Championships in Bahrain in December. Well done Harry!
Well done to Tristan G who started the summer on a 3 handicap and has brought it down to a 0.8 handicap. Some tournament achievements during the summer holidays include coming second in the Frilford Heath Junior Open and tying in the Burhill Junior Club Championship. Well done Tristan!

Some tournament achievements during the summer holidays include coming third at the Westhill Junior Open and coming fifth in the Surrey U16 Championship.
