Pupil’s team becomes Basketball league Champions

Well done to Demir T whose team have been awarded South England Conference National Basketball league Champions. He has been captain for the U14 Kingston Lions Basketball team for the 22/23 season. Demir is the MVP of the season and has scored 21.4 points per game this year. This was a great success for the Lions after becoming Surrey League Champions last year and making it to National Basketball South League.

Demir was selected for the Aspire Basketball England Talent Program 22/23 at the very beginning of this year, as this is his consecutive third year since 2020 where he has been representing South East England U14 team beside his basketball club activities.

U10A 7s Tournament

This tournament was always going to be tough, the opposition were some of our stronger rivals and every result would require a supreme effort. Throughout the tournament one notable feature of the team was how much they improved. Every match their attack got more dangerous, they offloaded superbly, worked together and looked to score in the wide areas. The defensive organisation went from an area of weakness to a definite strength. And counter rucking in the last game was very impressive. This was an excellent end to the rugby season and each of the players should be very proud of the way they played.
