The U13s travelled to Caterham on Monday 17 January for their first county tournament since joining the Senior School. The girls had a successful start to their county tournament by topping their group with wins over prestigious lacrosse schools GHS A, St Cats B, Caterham B and a draw against Putney A. The team progressed through to the county cup semi-final, where they played Caterham A. In a highly contested semi-final match Claremont came out victorious after going to golden goal. The final game of the day was against a strong St Cats A side, but unfortunately the county cup wasn’t to be and the team lost 4-0.

The players involved, not only in the county competition, but in U13 lacrosse should all be proud of this achievement as it shows the hard work and dedication they have all put in. The experience is fantastic preparation ahead of the lacrosse nationals in March.
