Year 7 and 8 pupils have been reading and studying a variety of poetry from pre-19th and 20th century during English lessons during the summer term. Whole classes selected a few of their favourites to perform on stage to fellow pupils during the school’s gratitude festival towards the end of term using voice and movement to bring the poems to life. Pupils worked extremely hard to learn the poetry and each group produced a fantastic performance full of enthusiasm and energy. Well done to all involved!
