On Wednesday 22 November the whole of Year 9 travelled to Twickenham Stadium. In the morning the pupils attended a workshop to assess the sustainability and carbon footprint of The Stoop. They found out that the cut grass from the pitch is recycled as compost and that all drinks cups are made from recycled plastic.

This was followed by an interesting tour of the stadium where pupils went into the home changing rooms, the royal box and the council room where English rugby rules are made! After lunch the pupils toured the World Rugby Museum where they had fun with interactive displays such as a scrum machine, a vertical jump machine and a virtual try conversion station.
