Everything you need from the day

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Year 7 Offer Holder Day 2026. It was a real pleasure to welcome you and to share more about life in the senior school.

For families who were unable to attend and for those who would like to revisit any part of the day, we have brought together all the key information below, including the talks from the event and details about next steps. We hope you find this helpful as you consider the journey ahead, and we very much look forward to staying in touch.

Next steps

Looking ahead, we have an exciting programme of events planned to help both pupils and parents feel confident and settled as they prepare for Senior School. These include welcome drinks for parents on Wednesday 10 June and the first induction afternoon for pupils on Monday 29 June, with a talk for parents at collection time. We very much hope you’ll save the dates and join us.

Speeches from the day

Claremont safety card

To help families visualise and feel confident about the transition to senior school, we created a Claremont “Safety Card” for families attending our offer holder day. Inspired by airline safety cards, it’s designed to be a friendly, reassuring guide to the journey ahead, introducing key members of staff, outlining the transition process and highlighting the support and opportunities pupils can expect as they move into Year 7.

Whether you joined us on the day or were unable to attend, we hope this gives a helpful sense of how carefully and thoughtfully we support pupils and families at this important stage and reflects the calm, confident approach we take to transition across the whole school.

You can view and download the Safety Card by clicking the button below.

Curriculum Guides

The Key Stage 3 Curriculum Booklet provides an overview of the subjects, learning approaches and breadth of experience pupils can expect in Years 7–9 at Claremont.

A printed copy of the booklet was shared with families attending our Offer Holder Day; however, for those who were unable to join us and for ease of reference for all families, we have included a digital version here.

The booklet is designed to give a clear sense of how we build on the strong foundations pupils bring with them, balancing academic challenge with curiosity, creativity and confidence-building. It also offers helpful context around how learning develops across key stage 3, ahead of subject choices later in the school.

We hope you find this a useful guide as you consider the next stage of your child’s Claremont journey.

If you have any questions after reading the booklet, our academic and admissions teams would be very happy to help.

Co-curricular booklet

At Claremont, life goes far beyond lessons. With over 60 clubs and activities from Year 7 through to sixth form, supported by excellent facilities and coaches, students have endless opportunities to explore passions, discover new talents, and develop skills.

Transport guide

We have a comprehensive transport network supporting pupils travelling to and from school, including dedicated school bus routes and late buses to key train stations, making it easier for pupils to take full advantage of co-curricular activities at the end of the school day. Many pupils also enjoy forming friendships with others who live locally along the same routes, helping them feel settled and connected both in and beyond school.

Families attending our offer holder day had the opportunity to meet Vectare, our transport provider, who are always happy to offer individual advice and help families find the most suitable travel option. For those who were unable to attend, full details can be found in the transport guide and map below.

We hope this information is helpful as you consider what will work best for your family.

IT provision

Technology plays an important role in learning at Claremont, and our approach is carefully considered to support pupils academically while remaining age-appropriate, purposeful and well balanced.

The document below outlines our IT provision across the school from September 2026, including the devices used at different stages, how technology supports teaching and learning, and details of the device purchase scheme for senior school pupils. It also provides reassurance around consistency, safeguarding and the practical support in place for pupils and families.

A printed copy was shared with families attending our Offer Holder Day; for those who were unable to join us  and for ease of reference for all families we have included the full document here.

Full details of our fees, including what is covered and information about lunches and school transport, can be found in the downloadable documents below.
