Annual Prep School poetry reading competition

On Friday 10 November the annual Prep School poetry competition took place, the standard was exceptionally high – no surprise there! All finalists confidently recited their chosen poems which correlated with this year’s theme: ‘Changes’.

The judges were impressed by the confident and charismatic deliveries of the finalists, making their decisions very difficult! Eventually the junior prize was awarded to Izzie C for her performance of ‘I can’t wait for Summer’ by Ken Nesbitt, with Finlay J who was the runner up. Olly G was the senior prize winner for his performance of Hamster by Spike Milligan, with Hattie H taking runner up position.
