Last month musically talented pupils from Claremont performed in a charity concert on Sunday 12 June in aid of UNICEF and Whiteley Village Trust. The concert involved 28 children, 5 of whom were Claremont pupils: Adeline I (Year 7), Crewe F (Year 2), Axyl B (Year 12), Zoey W (Year 5) and ex-pupil Lara W (now at Edinburgh University and who studied music A level).

The concert was held at St Marks Church in Whiteley Village, Hersham, and was attended by a number of elderly residents as well as parents. These students gave up their time on a Sunday afternoon to play, and the concert raised £491.00 for both charities.

Residents really enjoyed seeing young people performing music and have requested further concerts!
