The Year 6 go kart team have spent the last term building an electric go kart from scratch.  After a term of building we were excited to finally take the kart to an event at Seaford College where we raced against 22 other karts through the day. The children took part in a slalom, a drag race and finally a velodrome style timed sprint pursuit.

The children did excellently all day and enjoyed the event immensely, as did their families who joined us for the day.  The highlight of the day was Nate B winning the overall timed sprint race, which was the most competitive event of the day and an outstanding achievement.
