Hawk on the wild side

It was a fantastic end to the first half of the autumn term for the Pre-Prep and Nursery, as they welcomed the return of ‘hawk on the wild side’ and their magnificent birds of prey display. Year 2 children were able to enjoy a close encounter experience as part of their outdoor learning programme before joining the whole Pre-Prep and Nursery outside to see the birds in action. During the flying demonstration, the children saw the birds in full flight as they soared up high into the trees around them, even perching momentarily on top of our forest school entrance sign for a photo opportunity, before swooping back down in front of the children. A wonderful experience enjoyed by all!
