The Prep School poetry competition took place on Friday 4 November and, as ever, the standard was exceptionally high. The theme this year was ‘Our World’ with all competitors giving confident performances of their chosen poems.

The judges were impressed by the mature and confident deliveries of each of the competitors and eventually awarded the junior prize to Brodie J for his performance of ‘Dreamer’ by Brian Moses, with Daisy S the runner up prize. In the senior prize category, Jacob H was declared winner for his performance of ‘Warned’ by Sylvia Stultz, with Molly S taking runner up position.

Congratulations to all the finalists for making this year’s competition so successful.
